There is cheese, but it's hard to find, and then only in big cities at superstores like Walmart and Carrefour. Beijing a store targeting foreigners called Jenny Lou's also sells cheese. However cheese in China is VERY expensive. A 200 gram round of Camembert will cost 60 RMB [$8.85] and a similar sized piece of Edam will cost about 30 or 40 RMB [$4.42 - $5.90]. And there is cheese in McDonalds in China, but only on cheese burgers! And there are many Pizza Huts & other pizza outlets in big towns

I think this guy is just making a fuss,even though Chinese people rarely eat cheeses,then whatever,China and America are definitely two different worlds,Chinese people have their own way of thinking and living,and we should respect different cultures and philosophies.I think difference is what the world is about,if all the people on earth live the same,that will be uninteresting and boring.

You can easily buy cheese in supermarket I think.
But maybe it will be more expensive than in your country because most of them is import food because few Chinese people will eat it ..

cheese is one of mongols important food. mongols freeze top layer of their goat milk in winter, so they can store it for daily food. Chinese have cheese probably before the europeans. most Chinese think cheese are stinky food, not a favorite food in China, bi=ut it doesn't mean China don't have cheese.
